What's this year's show all about?

After a promotional performance at a local shopping centre, the cast of Canberra Gang Show suddenly find themselves without their band and with a million and one things to get done on the eve of their opening night performance.

The adventure unfolds as the cast members end up locked in after closing time. With a group of incompetent security guards on their tail, the cast splits up to roam the mall, collecting the required items to ensure their opening performance goes off without a hitch! The group faces further complications when they make a discovery at the back of an op-shop...

Will the cast solve their problems and make it to their performance in time?
